How all this came about:
I love spending my free time making things. Often I get ideas from magazines, the web, TV, displays in stores and other times the come back to me from my time growing up. Like for example crafts I once made in grade school. I just give them a little update and they look just as good now than they did then. Then again, I come up with crafts on my own. When I pick crafts it is important to me to keep all handmade projects simple and less expensive, yet pay attention to detail and materials to create quality rather than quantity. It is essential to me that handmade projects can be finished in shorter rather than longer time spans to give a nice dose of this great feeling of accomplishment. One other hobby I care about is cooking. I enjoy trying new recipes, but I always find my way back to the "old" recipes, passed down to me from my grandmothers. Given me being German you will find a lot of German dishes to discover for yourself. Long story short, I was encouraged by friends and family to no longer keep all my makings and doings for myself and here I am.
I hope you will enjoy taking a tour through all these handmade goodies and homemade cooking's.
Yours,
Marion
PS.
When I use patterns, ideas, recipes I purchased, I will list the source, so you can get the books/magazines/patterns etc. yourself and see what you make of it. Only my personal patterns/recipes will be listed on this web site.
