Pom Pom Angles
I got the idea form the Better Home and Gardens Special Interest
Magazine "Holiday Crafts 2013" and I changed it up a bit.
The Pom Pom on the white angle is very thick and dense, the red one turned out fluffier, because I wrapped the yarn only in 2 layers on the ring. There are very different effects to be achieved depending on the yarn one uses. I also used a white on the first layer and then a sparkly pale tan on the upper layers. So you can receive a ring like pattern by layering different yarns on top of one another. A bit hard to see on the photo. Sorry for that.
"The Holiday Crafts" magazine from BHG is a for sure purchase every year for me. I collect them and now own 5. Lot's of easy, affordable crafts to make.
So if you want to make it yourself, you may want to purchase the magazine or check out their web site.

Here is the red Pom Pom Angel.
I used 3 color yarn and layered it only twice on the cardboard ring
to have a more fluffy, less dense appearance.
I hope you also have fun making these cute ornaments.

Nativity scene in a Walnut shell
The nativity scene is something I wanted to make, since I remembered having on on our Christmas Tree when I was a little child.
When I get the chance I put the instructions down for you all.
Let me know, if you need them sooner.

Stick Horses
These felted horse heads are also born from a book I purchased many years ago in Germany.
I changed the mane a bit, but other than that I followed the instructions from the book.
The book is entitled:
Die Sachenmacher WEIHNACHTSWERKSTATT
You can purchase the book at http://www.jako-o.com. I placed a direct link on the title named above.
I actually own the whole series of books and my children love to pick projects out of them.
It is a great place to look for crafts anyways, so you may wan to check them out.

Salt Dough Ornaments
These are small cookie cutter size salt dough ornaments.
Make dough, roll out, cut out and let dry for about 7 days, turning
them once a day. You may also use the oven. Instructions come usually with the source of the salt dough recipe.
Once dry, I sand them a bit and then use permanent marker to decorate them. Do not use spray gloss after the marker is applied, because all the paint will run! If you want them glossy, spray gloss prior to applying permanent marker.
I still find the natural look more appealing to the eye. So mine are not sprayed.
Here is the fact behind the dough: What is salt dough?
There are plenty recipes you can find in the abyss of the WWW. Pick what looks the best to you.
Enjoy!

Feather Angel
These little cuties come to live with a crochet hat made of angora wool to give it a fluffy appearance and a bit of acrylic paint.

Recycled Paper is turned into Ornaments.
They are harder to make than I thought. Once you sew and make
a mistake the holes are in the paper. Correction is therefor not
possible, just trashing and starting a new one.
This idea is from BGH Holiday Crafts 2013 magazine.
