Recycled Wood Christmas Tree
This is my second one. I used the side board of our old sand box as tree trunk. Just brushed a bit walnut stain on it.
The boards are made by using left over ceder fencing, palette boards, old shelf boards, 2x2 boards left from building a compost bin, pine board from an old desk top. I did cut the pieces to size as needed with a jig saw, painted, spray painted the boards front and back. Here in white, silver and red. I screwed them to the main board with wood screws and drilled holes for drawer knobs. I used white, silver, clear knobs. Also added a few rusted nails and white small hooks. Then decorated with my home made ornaments and some very old glass ornaments.
This one is about 6 feet tall. The bottom shelve is about 1 yard.
Photo below shows tree without lights and fewer ornaments so you can see the make better.
