Knollensellerie paniert mit Tatarsosse
(Celery Root breaded with Tartar Sauce)
(serves 4)
Ingredients:
Directions:
Cut celery root in small french fry pieces and blanch in salt water for about 3 minutes.
Drain. You may also cut in round slices of 1 cm thickness.
Mix eggs, flour and salt to thin, liquid dough, may add water.
Roll celery pieces/slices in dough and then in bread crumbs.
Add oil to frying pan, heat to medium high and bake golden brown.
Tatar Sauce:
Ingredients:
2 small onions
6 pickles
7 tbs. mayonnaise
salt, pepper
lemon juice
Mince onions and pickles and mix with other ingredients to taste.
